The short version

Ovesture is a business-funding firm. This website exists to explain what we do and to let you start a conversation with a person. It carries no advertising pixels, and we do not sell, rent or broker your information.

• We collect what you type into a contact form, plus the ordinary technical details every web server receives.
• We use it to answer you and to work out which funding routes actually fit your business.
• We call or text you only if you ticked the box saying we may. The form sends either way, and you can withdraw that permission at any time.
• Ask us to delete what we hold and we will delete it, and tell you when it is done.

The rest of this page is the detail. If any of it is unclear, email [email protected] and ask — a person reads that address.

Who we are and what this covers

This policy covers the website at ovesture.com and the email and phone conversations that follow from it. It does not cover other companies’ websites we link to, and it does not cover a lender you go on to deal with directly — they will have their own policy and it is worth reading.

This policy is not legal advice and it is not a contract. Our Terms of Use govern your use of this website, including the calculators on it.

What we collect

What you type into a form

Every intake form on this site is the same form. It asks for a business name, your name, an email address, a phone number, your state, an optional description of your situation, and — on the merchant cash advance pages — whether you are current on your advances or already in default. Email is the only field you have to fill in. Everything else can be left blank and the form still sends.

If you use one of the calculators and choose to send your figures with the message, those figures travel with it — balances, payments, collections, an asking price, whatever the tool asked for. They are used to answer you and for nothing else. Using a calculator without pressing that button sends us nothing at all: the arithmetic happens in your browser.

Please do not send Social Security numbers, full bank account or card numbers, tax returns, or patient or medical information through the form. If something like that is needed later in a funding process, we will tell you how to send it securely rather than through a web form.

What your browser sends

As with any website, the server records the request: the IP address it came from, the time, the page asked for, the page that referred you if there was one, and your browser’s user-agent string. Our hosting provider keeps those as operational logs.

If you arrive from an advertisement or a campaign link, the campaign tags in the address (utm_source and its relatives, plus click identifiers such as gclid) are held for the length of your browser session and attached to your message if you send one, so we can see which page brought you to us. Closing the tab clears them.

The consent record

The form carries a separate tick-box giving us permission to call and text you. It starts unticked and it is never a condition of getting help — the form submits either way.

When you tick it we store the exact wording that was on the screen, a version stamp for that wording, the time of submission, and the IP address it came from. That record exists so that what you agreed to, and when, can be established later. If you leave the box unticked we record that too, and the notification that reaches our desk says plainly not to call or text you.

What we do with it

• Answer your enquiry, and work out which funding routes fit, which do not, and what each one would cost.
• Reply by email. We call or text only where you have given permission.
• Keep a record of the enquiry, our correspondence, and the consent you gave or withheld.
• Diagnose faults on the site, block abuse, and establish or defend a legal claim if one ever arises.
• Meet obligations the law puts on us.

We do not sell your personal information, rent it, or pass it to lead brokers, and we do not use it to build advertising audiences.

If a route we recommend means a lender or a funder needs to see your details, we ask you before anything is sent and you decide. Nothing is submitted, no credit is pulled and nothing is signed on the strength of a web form.

Who else sees it

Your message passes through a small number of service providers. Each does a single job and is not permitted to use your information for purposes of its own.

Vercel

Hosting. Serves the pages and keeps ordinary web-server request logs.

Supabase

Database. The lead record is written here first, before any email is attempted, so a message cannot be lost because an email provider was down. The table is closed to the public: nothing in it can be read from a browser.

Resend

Email delivery. Sends the notification to our desk and, where it is switched on, a short acknowledgement to you. The acknowledgement confirms receipt and gives the phone number; it makes no offer.

Google Analytics 4

Traffic measurement, and only where it has been switched on for this site. What it is allowed to send is described in the next section.

Beyond those, we disclose personal information only where the law requires it — a subpoena, a court order, a lawful request from a regulator — where it is needed to establish or defend a legal claim, or if the business is ever sold or merged, in which case whoever takes it on is bound by this policy or must tell you before anything changes.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no advertising cookies and carries no remarketing pixels. There is no Facebook pixel, no Google Ads tag, no Bing tag, no Firebase and no reCAPTCHA. Automated spam is kept out of the form with a hidden field that only a script would fill in, which needs no tracking and no puzzle.

The only browser storage the site itself uses is a single session entry holding the campaign tags described above. It lives in your browser, it is cleared when you close the tab, and nobody else reads it.

Where Google Analytics 4 is switched on, it sets its own cookies and measures page views plus a short list of events: a form was started, a form was sent, a phone number was tapped, a calculator was used. Those events carry the address of the page and nothing more. Email addresses, phone numbers, business names and money figures are stripped out in code before anything leaves the browser, so they never reach Google — that filter lives in the site’s own source, not in a setting somebody has to remember.

Where analytics is switched off, no Google script is loaded at all and no request is made to it. You can also block analytics cookies in your browser settings or with an extension; the rest of the site works normally without them.

Calls, texts and email

We reply to every enquiry by email. We call or text you only where you ticked the consent box, and consent is not a condition of obtaining services from us.

To stop calls or texts: reply STOP to any text, say so on a call, or email [email protected]. Reply HELP to a text for help. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies.

We do not run bulk marketing text campaigns, and filling in a form does not put you on a newsletter. If that ever changes, this page will say so before it happens and you will be asked separately.

How long we keep it

We keep a lead record for as long as we are working with you, and afterwards for as long as we may need it to show what was discussed and agreed — including the consent record, which is the evidence that a call or a text was permitted in the first place.

We do not run an automatic deletion schedule. In practice a record stays until you ask us to remove it, or until we remove it in a periodic clean-up. If you want yours gone, say so and it goes.

Server request logs are held by our hosting provider and expire on that provider’s own schedule, which is not something we control.

Your choices

Whoever you are and wherever you live, you can ask us to:

• Tell you what we hold about you and where it came from.
• Correct anything that is wrong.
• Delete it.
• Stop calling or texting you, or stop contacting you altogether.

Email [email protected] or call (929) 977-9070. We will ask a question or two to be sure we are speaking to the right person, then act on the request within 30 days and confirm when it is done.

If you live in California: you may request the categories and the specific pieces of personal information we have collected, ask us to delete or correct it, and you will not be treated any differently for asking. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is no sale or sharing for you to opt out of. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.

This site is aimed at businesses in the United States and information is handled in the United States. If you contact us from outside it, the choices listed above are open to you on request all the same.

How it is kept

Traffic to and from this site is encrypted in transit. The lead database is closed to the public: the website holds a credential that can write a record, and reading requires a separate administrator credential that is never sent to a browser.

No system is perfect and we are not going to pretend otherwise. If we ever find a breach that affects you, we will tell you, and we will say what we know at the time rather than waiting until the picture is complete.

Children

This is a service for businesses and it is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us something, email [email protected] and we will delete it.

Links to other sites

We link to lenders, to the U.S. Small Business Administration, to state business and lien registries, and to reporting we think is worth reading. Once you follow a link you are on somebody else’s site, under their policy, and we have no control over what they collect. Read their policy before you type anything into it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how this site handles information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Where a change materially affects information you have already sent us, we will tell you by email rather than relying on you to re-read the page.
